About

Kelsey is an experienced amateur hiker with a love for the outdoors. Currently based out of Long Beach, California, she grew up outside of St. Louis, Missouri. Following graduation from Missouri – Rolla with a Mining Engineering degree, she moved to Cleveland, Ohio for work. Quickly deciding that the Mistake on the Lake wasn’t for her, she jumped at the opportunity to move to Southern California.

When she’s not outdoors or writing, she enjoys training jiu jitsu and creating art. Ice cream tasting is also a full time hobby, along with cross stitching to re-runs of Star Trek TNG.

Her beagle, Remy (named Remy from Remy Cognac), is a sweetheart while managing to still be terrified of everything. Her Silverado, (named Susannah from the Dark Tower series) is her favorite physical possession.
